Every contract should also contain a note about payment of attorney’s fees. This note would specify, for example, that you will pay no attorney fees for preparation of the contract. It should also specify who (you or the contractor) would be responsible for paying attorney’s fees in the event of a legal dispute over fulfillment of the terms of the contract. For example, it may state that in the event of a contractual dispute, each party will be responsible for payment of their own attorney’s fees.
