Thinking of adding a ‘new addition’?

What if your “new addition” doesn’t mean adding on a new room to your house, but having a baby?

Furthermore, how can you decorate the baby’s room in a modern way? Here are some tips:

  1. Rather than using the traditional baby colors of pink and blue, how about a light and airy shade of yellow (it’s like sunshine!) for a girl or a handsome shade of green for your new little boy? Either one has a distinct, modern feel to it – as seen in this picture.
  2. Although the focus of any newborn’s room will be the crib, changing table and glider, don’t forget to make room for guests! This can be a cute, built-in seat under a window or even a sand-alone, “love seat” to accommodate family members.
  3. Invest more in your furniture and less on accessories, because you will need to change the small things more often as your baby grows!
