In It, Georgie Denbrough’s body is never found. After being attacked by Pennywise the clown and dragged into the sewer, his remains are presumed to be gone forever. However, it is later revealed that Pennywise had been storing Georgie’s body within the sewers, presumably to torment and haunt the Losers as they get older.
When the Losers Club confront him in the depths of the sewers, they do not find Georgie but they are still deeply affected by the trauma of his death. His disappearance has weighed heavily on all of them, with Bill feeling the greatest burden due to being his older brother.
Thankfully, with the power of friendship, the Losers are eventually able to defeat Pennywise and reclaim their town from the clutches of evil.
