Step 6: Measure and cut the last two pieces of 3/4 inch dowel, to create the easel’s platform. Cut them so that their length is about the same as that of the two legs. Now predrill two holes into the top of the legs, and two more holes into the end of each platform piece.
Use the 5/8 inch wood screws to secure the platforms to the legs.
Step 7: Lastly, use sandpaper to smooth the surfaces. Your easel should now be complete and ready to be used.
