A role model can be someone who inspires you to be better and set higher goals for yourself. Your role model doesn’t necessarily have to be famous; it could be a number of different people in your life.
It could be your parents, a mentor, a teacher, or a coach. Or it could be someone you don’t know personally, but have great admiration for —perhaps an author, a public figure, or a historical figure of great notoriety.
It doesn’t matter who it is, as long as they motivate you to continue to grow, learn, and strive for excellence in whatever your endeavor might be.
Your role model can provide motivation, guidance, and encouragement. It is important to choose someone who has qualities and values you admire, so you can use them to inspire your own behaviour. Think about someone who has achieved success in a way you can relate to, someone whose values and life choices you want to emulate.
Ultimately, you should look for qualities and accomplishments that can challenge, stimulate and encourage you to become a better person.
Finally, remember that it is ultimately up to you to choose a role model that suits your own goals and purposes. You deserve to have a role model who will support and elevate you, so be sure to pick someone that truly inspires you.
Who is the role model in your life?
My role model in life is my mother. She is a strong and independent woman and a constant source of motivation for me. Growing up, she balanced being a hardworking professional, a supportive and involved mother, a devoted wife, and a generous and attentive friend.
She was the kind of parent that was tough but fair—someone who always made sure that I learned lessons and understood the impact of my decisions. She was also always there to support me, especially when I needed her.
My mother taught me that hard work and dedication are necessary to be successful, but that there is room in life to have fun and enjoy yourself too. She encouraged me to pursue my dreams and that no matter how hard things got, I should never stop striving for what I wanted.

My mother showed me that the best things in life come from the hard times, and she remains a role model for me to this day. She is a living example of the power of resilience, determination, and unwavering faith, and I am proud to call her my role model in life.

How do you answer who inspires you the most?
My biggest inspiration is my grandmother. She was a strong-minded and independent woman who faced poverty and other hardships with grace and dignity. She was always kind and understanding, and she taught me the importance of hard work and determination.
She was extremely creative and innovative, which she passed onto me, and she had a generous spirit and a great capacity for giving back to her community. I’ve taken the resilience and strength she taught me and applied it in my own life, and it’s been a guiding light through more difficult times.
I also have a lot of respect and admiration for people who have faced adversity and come out the other side, because they show me that anything is possible with grit and belief. They remind me that no matter what life throws my way, I’m up to the challenge, and I can take the good and the bad with a positive attitude.
They give me a sense of hope and light in times of darkness, so that I can continue onward through obstacles and still be true to myself.
