Do you wear socks for reflexology?

No, you do not typically wear socks for reflexology. Reflexology is a technique that involves applying pressure to certain points on the feet with the help of the fingers, thumbs, and the hands. The technique does not require the use of any objects or appliances, including socks.

In fact, it is preferable not to wear socks as the skin is left uncovered and pressure can be more accurately applied to the reflex points on the feet. Some practitioners do, however, ask patients to wear socks to keep the feet warm, and if a customer requests to wear socks, then it is probably best to accommodate them.
