Does SquareTrade repair or replace?

SquareTrade offers affordable warranty plans that let you determine how you want to handle repairs and replacements. When you purchase a SquareTrade repair plan, you can choose to have them repair your item at the service center or have them replace it with an identical or comparable product if repair is not possible due to items no longer being sold or serviced.

Their repair coverage provides service and parts if your item breaks, or you can use their replacement coverage that will ship you a replacement if repair is not possible. Most SquareTrade plans are eligible for both options.

What is not covered by SquareTrade?

SquareTrade does not cover any losses due to intentional misuse, theft, fraud, natural disasters, any losses due to modification of the product (including modification done by the manufacturer), and any software changes that are not related to physical or mechanical defects.

SquareTrade also does not cover any damage after any expiration date, as well as any damage caused by improper transport or shipping. Furthermore, any repairs or replacements done without the prior consent of SquareTrade are not covered.

Finally, any operating costs, such as those associated with fuel, lubricants or other maintenance materials, and any loss or damage due to currency fluctuations, market or trade conditions, and changing legislation is not covered.

Is SquareTrade owned by Allstate?

Can you buy a SquareTrade warranty after purchase?

This page contains all the necessary details to purchase the warranty. After purchasing the warranty, SquareTrade will email customers a warranty plan certificate with all the relevant details printed on it.

Will SquareTrade replace my phone?
