How does SquareTrade warranty work?

SquareTrade warranty works by offering coverage on products such as smartphones, tablets, and electronics that go beyond the manufacturer’s warranty. With a SquareTrade warranty, you can protect your products from accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and defects – even with wear and tear.

All coverage plans are available online, and can be purchased online with a few simple clicks.

Purchasing coverage with SquareTrade is easy. After selecting a product and a plan that fits your needs, you can add coverage right away. There are three different levels of coverage that customers can choose from: Standard Plan, Advanced Plan, and Elite Plan.

The Standard Plan is the simplest form of coverage and includes repair or replacement coverage for up to two years. This level of coverage is best for cheaper items or products that are less likely to break.

The Advanced Plan extends the protection to three years and includes coverage for accidental damage from handling (ADH). Finally, the Elite Plan is the top tier of coverage and offers coverage for up to five years.

This plan includes coverage for ADH as well as coverage for loss and theft.

In addition to providing coverage, SquareTrade also offers 24/7 customer support. As soon as you purchase a plan, you can contact SquareTrade’s customer service team to start a claim. The team will work with you to determine the best way to repair or replace your item.

SquareTrade also provides customers with effective tools and resources to help them protect their products. These resources include online safety guides and product guides to help customers understand the risks associated with their items, as well as tutorials and videos to assist with product setup and maintenance.

Overall, SquareTrade warranty plans offer customers a comprehensive way to protect their products and save money in the long run.

Will SquareTrade replace my phone?

SquareTrade does not directly replace phones. However, they do offer phone protection services that cover accidental damage, mechanical failure, and liquid damage. If any of these events occur, SquareTrade will reimburse you for repair or replacement costs.

Depending on the service plan you purchase, reimbursement may range from as little as $50 to up to the full retail value of your phone.

Also, SquareTrade offers a “Back-up Phone Guarantee” in which they will provide a loaner phone within 24-48 hours while your device is being repaired, replaced, or while you’re waiting to get a new one.

This is an added convenience, so you don’t have to wait to get a phone if your device is damaged or lost.

So while SquareTrade will not replace your phone directly, it does provide various helpful services and coverage plans to help you get a replacement phone in the event of accidental damage, mechanical failure, or liquid damage.

Does SquareTrade have a deductible?

Does SquareTrade repair or replace?

SquareTrade does both repair and replacement, depending on the issue that needs fixing. As part of their warranty, SquareTrade will repair or replace an eligible device if it stops working due to mechanical or electrical malfunctions.

When a customer purchases a SquareTrade warranty, they can choose the repair or replacement option that is best for their device and their budget.

If repair is selected, SquareTrade will assess your device to determine what needs to be fixed and then they will send parts and/or a repair technician to fix the device as soon as possible.

If a customer chooses the replacement option, SquareTrade will send them a new, refurbished device within 3-5 business days. The replacement device will be the same model or equivalent, depending on what is available.

No matter which option is chosen, SquareTrade will do their best to make sure that the customer’s device is fully functional and that they are satisfied with the service they receive.

How long do you have to file a claim with SquareTrade?
