How long after LASIK can I get Microblading?

Generally, it is advised that patients wait at least three months after their LASIK procedure before considering microblading. This is because the healing process for LASIK takes about three to six months, during which time important healing steps must take place and LASIK results must stabilize.

Additionally, due to potential eye dryness from the LASIK procedure, it is also recommended to wait 3-4 weeks after the procedure to give ample time for eye healing and for moisturizers to do their job.

During your appointment with your microblading technician, they may suggest that you wait additional time, or even consult with your ophthalmologist to see if the microblading is safe for your individual eye.

When can I get microblading after LASIK?

In general, you should wait at least 3 months after having LASIK before getting microblading. This is because the tissue surrounding the eyes is often still healing and the pupils are often still dilated for the first few months following the LASIK procedure.

Having microblading too soon after a LASIK procedure could lead to potential issues. After 3 months have passed, you can assess your eye health and discuss the possibility of microblading with your eye doctor and/or a licensed and experienced microblading technician.

It’s important to make sure that both parties approve of the procedure, as there can be complications if microblading is performed too soon after the LASIK procedure.
