At this time, there is no recall on Firman generators currently active in the US. However, Firman Power Equipments did complete a Voluntary Consumer Product Safety recall of their model 84005 inverter generator model in May 2019.

Affected generators have an incorrect rating label which may cause regulators to overheat and create a risk of fire. All inverter generator model 84005 units sold before June 5th, 2019 are affected, and should be returned to an authorized service dealer for a free repair.
