What foods irritate tinnitus?

Processed foods and foods that contain additives, such as monosodium glutamate (MSG), can also be problematic for individuals with tinnitus. These foods can trigger allergic reactions in some individuals, leading to inflammation and worsening of tinnitus symptoms.

Finally, sugary foods and drinks can also irritate tinnitus. Consuming high levels of sugar can cause a rapid increase in blood sugar levels, which can lead to hormonal imbalances and inflammation, both of which can worsen tinnitus symptoms.

Foods that contain caffeine, alcohol, high levels of salt, processed foods, additives, and sugar can all irritate tinnitus and make the symptoms worse. Reducing or eliminating these foods from the diet may help to alleviate tinnitus symptoms and improve overall health.
