Can’t connect to the host Astroneer?

If you are having trouble connecting to the host Astroneer, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue.

1. Check your internet connection. Make sure your internet connection is up to date and the connection is stable. You can run a speed test to check your download and upload speeds.

2. Ensure that your firewall or router is not blocking port 30270, which is necessary for the game to connect. If so, than you will need to add an exception for it.

3. Verify that the host is using the latest version of the game. If the host is running an older version, it won’t be able to connect to a newer version.

4. Try disabling Proxy settings in your network settings to see if that helps.

5. Verify that Network Address Translation (NAT) is enabled and that your IP is allowed to connect.

6. If you are using a laptop and connecting over WIFI, try connecting to a different router or switch. This could indicate a problem with your WIFI signal or router.

7. If none of the above steps work, you may be experiencing connection or latency issues. Try to lower the graphics settings to reduce lag and ask the host to reset the game or perform a clean restart.

If you’re still having trouble connecting to the host Astroneer, contact the developers via their website or email support.
