Why wont my Sonos turn off?

If your Sonos is not responding to commands to power off, there are a few potential causes.

First, check that the Sonos is still connected to your Wi-Fi network. In some cases, Sonos may go offline due to a bad connection or as a result of a software update. To check your Wi-Fi connection, open your device’s settings and make sure that it is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.

If it is still not responding, you may need to factory reset the Sonos. To do this, locate the Reset button on the back of the device, then press and hold it for at least 10 seconds. This will restore the Sonos to its original factory settings and should resolve any issues you may be having with the device.

If these steps do not work, you may need to contact the Sonos support team. They may have you reset the device again or provide additional troubleshooting steps to help you get your Sonos working again.

Why does Sonos Move battery drain?

Sonos Move batteries may drain for a variety of reasons. One potential cause is that the Bluetooth connection between the Move and a mobile device is using a lot of power. Additionally, the Move can be set to always be on, which means it is constantly draining its battery.

Lastly, the Move may be placed in an area with poor reception, meaning that it needs to work extra hard to maintain a connection and is therefore draining the battery faster. Additionally, age can play a factor; as batteries naturally degrade over time, you may notice that the Move battery drains faster than it used to.

To ensure maximum battery life, it is important to avoid connecting to Bluetooth unnecessarily and try to keep the Move near high-quality Wi-Fi connections whenever possible.
